Ellery came to class today with the ribbon she won in her division of the Art and Soul competition. She also brought some chocolate chip cookies which we snacked on during class. They were delicious. Thank you!
It turns out that I had not yet taught her a painting with any mountains in it and today’s class not only had two of them, but we also painted their reflections in the lake. I think she did an excellent job with them and the end result was excellent. Next class I want to start her putting some snow on the mountains with the knife. She has such a light touch, I think it will be easy for her to learn.
