It goes without saying that the longer you take classes, the more difficult the subjects become and today’s painting proved this out. There were a number of newer elements to tackle in this one… The distant mountains have a lighter base in order to make them appear further away. The mid-range mountains involved technique that we had not worked on to any great extent and to top it off, there was a cabin thrown in. A big challenge and Jayden did well. The next class I will try to have more of the same which will let him practice what was learned today.
