Ayda Bowman returned to the studio today for her first adult session. She wanted experience painting on saw blades, so I had several prepared to work on. Getting ther ready takes some time. You must remove the handle and then use a wire brush to remove any rust (these are old blades) and then cover the surfaces with black spray paint. The handles will be reconditioned later and applied after the paint has dried.
Today we decided to paint on both sides of the the blade with a summer mountain scene on the side a and on the back she decided on a desert landscape. Below you will see pictures as she worked on each one… As you can see, Ayda is really progressing. This is the result of her continued practice.
