Jayden is a determined young man with his sights set on being an artist. He is filled with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Additionally, he is very attentive in class. Add all this to his home practice and I see success in his future.
Today we did a painting that incorporated much of what he had painted before, but on a new medium. Beginning with a canvas covered with black gesso, he applied liquid clear as his base medium. The colors that followed could barely be seen until we started applying white and then the magic started to occur.
As you will see, his determination and willingness to work are paying dividends. Watch him in action on the short video and enjoy his class photo’s.
