You will remember that yesterday, after the morning session, we cleaned our canvases in order that we could practice on them again today. Well, at 10 a.m. Jayden and I started preparation by applying a thin even coat of liquid white followed by a covering of Prussian Blue. Then he had a short review of yesterday’s lesson, followed by work on summer mountains, double loading the brush for rocks, fence posts and trees. Then we worked on tappy grass and ended the session with some tree limb instruction. Jayden is such an eager student and takes comments and critique really well.
The afternoon session was used to paint a beautiful summer mountain with a lot of grass and rocks. Again, he did really well as you will see with the video and photos that follow:
