These workshops are designed for students who are at least 12 years of age. Because each day has a morning and afternoon session, the students must be able to focus for two hours or more in the morning and about three in the afternoon. (We take an hour break where participants can go on a lunch break)
I recommend that the classes be scheduled on consecutive days, but schedules do not always allow that so I am flexible on those schedules. We do schedule the dates to fit the need of the student(s). While I prefer to have two students in each workshop, I will teach them to just one person.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING TO CLASS?
I provide everything including the following:
- TWO 16 x 20 canvases and
- FOUR 12 x 16 canvas
- ONE 16 x 20 Frame (for the painting we do on day 5)
- Use of all the the required brushes, paint, cleaning materials, and even an apron.
WHAT DOES IT COST?
- Two students at one time the cost for the entire session is $ 350.00 each.
- If I have only one student the cost will be $400.00
All of our practice sessions will be done on a 16 x 20 canvas. At the end of each practice session the canvas will be cleaned and used the following day. The paintings that we do following each day will be on 12 x 16 canvases and you will take that painting home with you at the end of the day. Frames for paintings are available for purchase.
On day 5 there will not be a practice session. All of our time will be spent painting our masterpiece on a 16 x 20 canvas. The frame, clips and hangers for this painting is included in the cost of the workshop.
