This is Kadee’s fifth painting in the last couple of months. She is making excellent progress and will be back for more classes in the fall as she is taking a summer hiatus. Well, that is unless she can talk Mom into a couple of unplanned sessions.
Today I let Kadee do some experimentation. The first painting below was the example of what I had planned for this session. She had questions about how to make it look like rain, so we talked about that and she decided that was what she wanted to do. From there, I let her do some other free thinking as I think that is good for everyone. I also let her do some painting on my canvas so you will see her at my easel. This session lasted a bit longer that normal, but we had a really good time and she learned some of what to do and some of what does not work so well. We had fun and if you look closely, you will see that she really got “into” her work.! All in all, it was a good session. I look forward to our continuing her Joy of Painting experience. Have a great summer Kadee!
