Earlier this day I had the sisters of these cousins in class. I guess that having a love for things artistic is in the gene pool as both sets of sisters exhibited excellent skills. I am always impressed when students of any age pay close attention to how one is supposed to load the brush and then touch the brush to canvas properly. Jenni and Catalina were so good at this and their paintings reflect just that.

My first desire as a teacher is for my students to enjoy themselves. If they go home feeling they learned something and are proud of their paintings, then the rest of my objectives have been met. And, when young students tell their parents that that want to come back, that is an excellent indicator. I fully expect that all four of these girls will be back at the easel one day in the not too distant future.,
