My last two classes.

CLASSES

This has been a busy week for me. Well, busy for my age…. I taught a class on Friday evening and then another this morning. That made me a little tired… I asked Wanda if she could explain why I would be. It was only 15 or so years ago when we scheduled classes 5 nights a week (sometimes 6) all with 12 students in them and did it every week. She explained it this way… We were younger then… Well, sure we were,  but only by 15 years and it seems to me that at 77, I should still have something left in the tank….

Let me take a minute to tell you about these last two classes. Friday I met with Dustin and Marie Tanner. Tanner has been a JOP enthusiast for a long time but neither of them had ever painted before. So Marie decided that a date night surprise visit to the studio would be fun. She asked if we could do different paintings or maybe ones that complimented each other. I think that what they painted will look great on their walls hanging side by side. Here is a link that will let you see glimpses of the entire class. CLICK HERE.

It was a quick turn-around to get ready for this mornings class. At 10:30 two young friends, Remi Pedersen and Halle Western (both age 12) arrived with smiling faces , eagerly anticipating their first painting experience. This was a youth session and lasted only 2 hours. These young ladies were so respectful and full of appreciation for each element of success that they experienced today. And there were lots of them..  I heard lots of “I love that” as they completed each element of their paintings… You be the judge of how they did. Just Click Here.

COMMENTS

At the bottom of each class page, you will see a section that allows you to make comments. I look forward to reading your responses to what they and I am doing.

GIFT CERTIFICATES

It was just a few weeks ago that I was busy mowing my lawns. Hard to believe that Christmas is looming before us. If you are looking for something unusual and special to give your loved ones, or even just good friends, I encourage you to consider gift certificates for painting classes. These have no expiration date and the recipient can schedule classes to fit their schedule… I am open for appointments every day of the week and teach mornings, days and nights. If it turns out that the recipient would prefer to re-gift the class, we can even make arrangements to do that.

WEBSITE

The site is still a work in progress. We have made some changes, There are improvements to the CLASSES section. I still have to add an area devoted to the Synthetic Ceramic Tiles that we specialize in. Those too would make an excellent gift for the holidays. In a day or two I will send a mailing with explanations as to what we can do.

In the meantime, please share the site with your friends. Our mailing list is growing and the number of visits to the site increased each month. All that is positive and largely because you are spreading the work

We still have class days open before the holidays. Call now and we will find a time that works for both of us…

Till next time           Happy Painting.
